City Council Elections
Dear Residents,
We took the first step in getting city government to start listening to our concerns by turning out at last night’s election for City Council. We had a 35% turnout while the the city-wide turnout was 26%.
It is in our interest to get involved and vote in local elections. Let’s try to get 60% or greater turnout in future elections. Voter turnout and participation in local issues is the best way to get better representation from our elected officials.
Congratulations to Mark Olbert and Ron Collins! We look forward to working with you both on the issues and developments affecting our neighborhood. Special thanks to Mark Olbert for supplying us with accurate data on the election results!
